V.I.P. Modelling Agencies learns there are two phrases that can send shivers down the spines of commodity investors: "too much supply" and "too little demand." These days those phrases get thrown around frequently in conversations about natural gas. The recession lowered demand for the commodity, but the real problem, analysts say, is an oversupply resulting from new sources of natural gas. There is a gas glut in this country, says Mark Davidson, editorial director for U.S. gas news at energy research firm Platts.
